Easter Update

Dear Members,

 I hope you are all coping well with Lockdown and keeping up some training. The nice weather recently will help that and it looks like staying fine for Easter. 

Unfortunately we have no definite advice from Athletics New Zealand on the winter season as to when events might start or when to begin registration. We have proposed to Athletics NZ that registration and fees should only apply from whenever race events recommence. I will let you know as soon as we hear anything from them.

In the meantime your 2019 registration still holds with the Club, and I also urge you to try some of the Virtual events (Vruns) that are offered on line by Athletics Canterbury and Athletics NZ 

I and the other Exec members would like to hear your feedback on those events and any other suggestions you have for activities within constraints of the Lockdown and Level 3 or 2.

Remember also that Jacinda Adern has said that the Easter Bunny is an essential worker so hopefully there will be some eggs for you to hunt for at your place.
